My field of interest

Hi, guys. Nowadays, I believe that everyone has their own kind of area of interest, no doubt that I am no exception. Today I would like to share my field of interest. My field of interest is good at socializing and likes to join camping or events, so I want to be a successful event planner in the future. Although operational events are interesting and meaningful, they can also be challenging, especially since the onset of COVID-19. People who grow up under pressure usually do well in this type of work, but it's not just about personality.

Now I would like to emphasize the best and necessary characteristics of an event planner who often remains in the background.

1. Good people skills.

In this work, there are moments when we have to talk to all kinds of people. We need people to read and dialogue partners on the same wavelength. Usually, we must react quickly to avoid conflicts and become good negotiators while maintaining a sense of humor and a good tone of voice. It is important to keep all of this in mind, the process must be enjoyable, and it must also be joking. This is to enjoy the cooperation between colleagues and clients way. The key to success is to maintain a good relationship with all parties.

2. Flexible in work duties.

Event planners may sometimes need to become cleaners, technicians, and then take quick action in the next moment to solve some problems. All these situations must be resolved quickly and quietly with good results. This must be done so that no one notices. The important thing is to stay calm, cool-headed, and repair as planned.

3. Good listening skills.

The ability to read between two lines. Understand the vision that the orderer thinks of when describing the event, what is the purpose of the event, what is needed, and what is not needed in the event. It’s important to understand the customer’s needs and ensure that all parties have the same expectations.

4. Good communication skills.

The communication of the event planner must be clear and skilled. It is best to set the goals of the project like this, pass these goals to the partners, and guide all parties. Every small link is vital to the success of the event. Therefore, it is important to communicate with all parties in a clear, accurate, and controllable manner.

5. Good and creative problem solver by nature.

Regardless of the specific plan for the planned activity, there may still be some problems due to a third party that is completely out of control (for example, the delivery of the main performer is delayed, unexpected power outages, etc.). Therefore, we must always creative problem-solving unexpected. We must pay attention to the way the participants to the event.
